Child Support Enforcement

The Child Support Authority is a state agency responsible for establishing and enforcing child and medical support obligations for cases that have been opened with the office under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act. Services are provided to any person who either applies for them or is receiving certain public assistance benefits from the state of Wyoming.

Some of the primary responsibilities of Child Support Enforcement are:

  • Establish Paternity and Support
  • Enforce existing child support obligations
  • Locate custodial and non custodial parents
  • Answer child support related questions
