Sheridan Area Water Supply JPB - SAWS
The purpose of the Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers Agreement and the Joint Powers Board created thereby as contained in the Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers Agreement at Section II is to provide a joint and cooperative method and vehicle for ascertaining and identifying viable options for the acquisition of a high quality water supply of up to 12,000 acre feet to meet the present and future domestic, municipal and industrial needs and demands of resident water consumers of the City and County of Sheridan; and to conduct other activities necessary to construct, operate and maintain an area-wide water supply and delivery system; and to apply for funding to conduct its activities from the Wyoming Water Development Commission.|
