Tuberculosis:
TB is one of the leading causes of death due to infectious disease in the world. In the U.S.it is steadily declining. TB is caused by bacteria and is most often found in the lungs. It is spread person to person through the air via droplets from such things as coughing and sneezing. Transmission occurs when another person inhales infected droplets.
Sheridan County Public Health Clinics are Tuesdays 1:30 to 4:30pm and Fridays 9:00 to 11:30am by appointment for a TB Skin Test.
