A: In the event of an emergency, always call 911 first. They will assess the situation and determine if Emergency Management assistance is needed. If it is a county-wide situation, broadcasts will be made to the media.

Q: What types of other departments and emergencies do you work with?
A. We work closely with the police and fire departments, Sheriff's Office, Forest Service, the National Weather Service and neighboring counties to assist with emergencies from fire, flood, weather conditions or any terrorist activity.
