Q: How much herbicide do I put in my tank?A: It depends on the herbicide and the rate of application.
Q: Do I need a license to apply herbicides?
A: No (with the exception of Tordon 22K).
Q: Do I need a license to treat Prairie dogs?
A: Yes, Any purchased Rodenticide requires a license.
Q: Will Herbicides harm my cows or horses?
A: No, the herbicides we sell do not have any grazing restrictions (some restrictions do apply to dairy animals).
Q: Do you treat household insect pests (Box elder, wasps, spiders, ants, etc)?
A: No, we only treat insect pests listed on the Designated/Declared lists.
Q: Will the aerial Mosquito spray harm Honeybees or other desirable insects?
A: No, we use VectoBac 12AS. It only works on Mosquito and Black fly larva.
Q: Is Roundup safe to use around trees and why do I have to apply Roundup more than once a season?
A: Yes, Roundup is a contact herbicide that only works on green growing plants. (Caution, do not get Roundup on the leaves or damage/death may result). Roundup does not have a residual. It does not work on seeds. The plants must be actively growing for it to work.
Q: Will you spray my weeds for me?
A: Yes, We have two crews available for spraying. The Leafy spurge crew and the Small Acreage crew. (However, we only spray for the weeds listed on the Designated/Declared lists).
Q: How much herbicide can I purchase?
A: Herbicide sales are based on the amount of property you own or lease. Roundup sales do not count against other herbicide sales.
Q: Can city residents purchase products from you?
A: No, the City has it's own Weed & Pest programs. You must own or lease property outside of City limits to purchase from us.
