JOB TITLE: Code Enforcement Officer

WAGE RANGE: Hourly $15.25 to $15.75 DOE

SUMMARY: This position is part-time (not more than 24 hours per week), and is responsible for the direct enforcement of county land use regulations.  Major duties include: review and approval of zoning permit applications; documentation and enforcement of county codes; meeting with individuals to explain regulations; investigation of citizen complaints; preparation and delivery of notices; making requests for prosecution as necessary; testifying in court; conducting follow-up inspections; reviewing issued permits and making site visits to ensure compliance; coordinating with other department staff. 

MININUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Department policies and procedures; county land use regulations and state statutes; enforcement procedures; computer operation and related software; dealing with the public; oral and written communication; investigation and documentation/  The ideal candidate will have had previous experience in a law enforcement field.

JOB TITLE: Deputy County Clerk/Full time Grade 10

SALARY RANGE: $26,650 TO $29,980 annual DOE

JOB SUMMARY:  This position provides administrative assistance to the County Clerk and the Board of County Commissioners

BENEFITS: Medical insurance and prescription drug coverage, dental insurance, term life insurance, Wyoming Retirement Program, vacation and sick leave, paid holidays.  Hours of work are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED.  Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, personal computers and software programs.  Skilled in the provision of customer service, interpersonal relations, and oral and written communication.
