Local Agencies to Host Fuels Mitigation Workshop

Sheridan County is partnering with the Wyoming Forestry Division, the US Bureau of Land Management, and the US Forest Service in hosting a free fuels mitigation workshop on June 2, 2018 at the Best Western Sheridan Center.

Fuels mitigation involves, in addition to other measures, reducing vegetation around homes and other structures. The workshop will feature wildfire mitigation specialist Keith Worley, and will cover such topics as fuels reduction, structural ignitability, and maintenance.

Admission is free, but space is limited. Attendees are asked to register in advance by May 21, 2018.
