Public Works Director Rod Leisinger
Rod manages the Public Works Department in addition to being a County Engineer.
Building Inspector Steve Bond
Steve is responsible for building codes, permits and inspections. Assists with flood plain determinations, small waste water and zoning issues.
County Engineer Ken Muller
Ken is responsible for completing designs of County roads, culverts, gravel and shale quarries, directing CAD work, operating road management systems, cost accounting, administering contracts and inspections of road jobs.
Planner Mark Reid
Mark is responsible for administration of the Zoning Resolution and creating and updating long-range plans for Sheridan County to include a current Comprehensive Plan. Elements of the Comprehensive Plan include Land Use, Transportation, County Utilities, Sensitive Areas, Natural & Manmade Hazards, and Open Space.
Road and Bridge Superintendent John Sturtz
John is responsible for supervising the daily activities of the Road and Bridge Department including: road maintenance, minor bridge repair, snow removal, and culvert installation.In addition, he oversees the maintenance and repair of county vehicles; directs and participates in the operation of a variety of heavy, medium, and light equipment, including road graders, front end loaders, backhoes, dozers, and trucks.
Code Enforcement Officers Bob Shelley Jim Allender
The County Code Enforcement Officers are responsible for ensuring private property and construction and development projects conform to zoning, and conditions of approval. They are also responsible for inspections, investigations, and resolution of zoning enforcement issues.
Engineering Technician Bill Pinkerton
Bill is responsible for completing the computer-aided drafting and GPS surveying under the direction of the County Engineer. He also does Building and Septic inspections when needed.
GIS Operator Sandi Kerr
Sandi is responsible for preparing data base and GIS maps for the Public Works Department and for maintaining/updating GIS systems.
Land Development Coordinator Robin DeBolt
Robin is responsible for administering the Sheridan County Subdivision Resolution, Rezoning permits, Quarry permits, Variance permits, Conditional Use permits, and Mobile Home Park licenses.
Planning Assistant Andrea Garrett
Andrea assists the Sheridan County Land Development Coordinator, Sheridan County Planner, and the Code Enforcement Officers as well as clerical work,
Receptionist Rhonda Birchby
In addition to answering the phone and helping walk-in clients, Rhonda also assists the staff of the Public Works Department wherever necessary.
Septic Inspector Vacant
The Septic Inspector issues Septic permits and inspects septic systems. He also enforces the Wyoming State Small Wastewater Rules and Regulations. The purpose of these regulations is to prevent, reduce and eliminate pollution and enhance the waters of the State of Wyoming and to protect the health, safety and welfare of the environment and its inhabitants by ensuring that the design, construction and operation of small wastewater systems meets the purpose of the Environmental Quality Act.
Special Projects Coordinator George Rogers
George oversees the operations of the Road & Bridge department, and procures equipment and supplies used on our County roads. He also administers the bidding process for and supervises the various road projects going on in the county.
