Public Notice: “RECORDED DEED NOTICE” Mailings

On April 21st, the Board of County Commissioners were notified that residents of Sheridan County are receiving correspondence entitled “RECORDED DEED NOTICE”. Residents have expressed concern and confusion as the RECORDED DEED NOTICE looks similar to the 2015 NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT issued by the Sheridan County Assessor.

This Media Release is to notify residents that the mailing entitled “RECORDED DEED NOTICE” did not originate from, and has no affiliation with, any Sheridan County Office.  Sheridan County information systems remain secure and action on the part of any resident is not required.
