Now Accepting Nominations to the Weed and Pest Control District

Application period closed.

Public notice to solicit nominations for Board Members of the Sheridan County Weed and Pest Control District.  Appointments to be made on the 3rd day of January, 2017, at 9 a.m.

Pursuant to the Wyoming Weed and Pest Control Act of 1973 (W.S. 11-5-101 through 11-5-104), notice is hereby given to solicit nominations for appointments to Sheridan County Weed and Pest Control District Board. Appointments shall be made in accordance with W.S. 11-5-104.

Prior to appointment, the nominee for Director shall submit a petition signed by at least ten (10) landowners, to the Office of County Commissioners at least (10) days before the date of the meeting.

Open appointments are in county areas 1, 2, 4 and 5. Please refer to the attached map as a reference to the areas listed.

Please complete the nomination petition and return to the Board of County Commissioners office on the second floor of the Court House.  Or by mail to Board of County Commissioners, 224 South Main Street Suite B-1, Sheridan, WY 82801
