Scout is an explosives detection K-9 for the regional response team. She is funded by Sheridan County and a grant by the Department of Homeland Security and administered by the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security. Scout was born in South America and has been working with her handler, Sheridan County’s Emergency Management Coordinator, Jesse Ludikhuize. Scout is deployed for dignitary protection around the State of Wyoming and for large public events.
