Sheridan County Reportable Diseases

A Reportable or Notifiable Disease is any disease that, when diagnosed, requires healthcare providers (usually by law) to report to state or local public health officials. Reportable/Notifiable diseases are of public interest by reason of their contagiousness, severity, or frequency. Wyoming State Statute requires healthcare providers and laboratories to report diseases and conditions on the Reportable Diseases and Conditions List to the Wyoming Department of Health. Sheridan County Public Health collects this data on a weekly basis from the Wyoming Department of Health and reports out on a monthly basis, depending on scheduling, holidays, and the like. The data presented here may not reflect the final morbidity for the month.
