Only certain items may be brought to the Sheriff’s Office for use by inmates.
These items are as follows:
- Prescription Eyeglasses (No sunglasses without written order by doctor for an eye condition)
- Dentures
- Medications approved by medical staff
- Jury clothing (this is accepted only after a jury trial has been set)
All items brought to inmates from an outside source must be clearly marked with the inmate’s full name. Loss of items due to unmarked or unclear marked items is not the responsibility of the Sheriff’s Office.
NOTE: The Sheriff’s Office, at its sole discretion, may refuse to take any or all of the above listed items at any time for the safety and security of the Detention Center.
