Sheridan County, the City of Sheridan, and SEEDA solicited proposals earlier this summer for a Housing Needs Assessment and Housing Action Plan. The project consisted of the development of a comprehensive assessment of housing needs in Sheridan County to include both a snapshot of existing inventory and community demographics; a gap analysis of estimated demand compared to existing housing inventory; and anticipated new units. In addition, the project included the development of a plan for a detailed strategy for meeting short and long-range goals to satisfying the needs identified in the gap analysis.
