INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given that Sheridan County is inviting “Qualified” General Contractors to
submit a sealed bid for furnishing labor, materials and equipment required to complete a 47-acre TP/Folly Fuels Treatment Project. Project includes removing or piling understory, brush, and clean-up of dead down woody materials, and removal of large and small trees. Branches and tops less than 4” will be piled or removed from site. Project can be accessed via Sheridan County road 26 (Red Grade). Work is to be completed within seven hundred and twenty-two days (722) from November 7, 2020 through October 30, 2022. A Mandatory pre-bid meeting and mandatory site visit will be held starting at 10:00 AM, October 13, 2020 at the Red Grade snowmobile parking lot. Access to unit 1a is currently limited to only off-road vehicles (i.e. ATV, UTV) or by foot. It is suggested that participants come prepared with transportation that will facilitate timely access to this unit.
Contract Documents can be picked up in the office of the Sheridan County Commissioners, second floor, Courthouse addition, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Sealed bids marked “TP/Folly Fuels Treatment Project” will be accepted at County Commissioners’ Office, 224 S. Main Street, Suite B-1, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801 until 2:00 PM October 28, 2020. At that time bids will be opened in the Public Meeting Room, 2nd floor, Courthouse addition. Sheridan County reserves that right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities in the bid submittal and evaluation process. The bidder will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, and regulations.
