Sheridan County Public Library System Accepting Board Applications

The Sheridan County Public Library System is now accepting applications for two open position that will begin July 01, 2019 and serve a three (3) year term. Applicants must complete the board application provided on the Sheridan County web-site at www.sheridancounty.com. Applications must be received no later than May 24, 2019 at 5:00pm. Applications can be emailed to bocc@sheridancounty.com or mailed to Board of County Commissioners, 224 S Main St, Suite B1, Sheridan, WY 82801.

Sheridan County Public Library System is a public advisory board and its purpose is to:

  • Set policies and develop a Strategic Plan for the library system
  • Set the annual budget for the library and oversee all financial documents and expenditures each month
  • Oversight of the Library Director
  • Proponent of the Library within the community

Meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of each month with additional committee duties as needed.
