Sheridan Travel and Tourism Board Opening

The Board of County Commissioners for Sheridan County is now accepting applications to fill two open position for the Sheridan Travel and Tourism Joint Powers Board. Sheridan County will initially appoint one (1) member to a one – year term and one (1) member to a two – year term. Thereafter, appointments for a full term shall be for three (3) years.

The Sheridan Travel and Tourism Joint Powers Board will consist of (9) members all of whom shall be qualified electors involved in the travel and tourism industry. Members shall be appointed by the governing bodies as follows: Town of Ranchester (1), Town of Dayton (1), Town of Clearmont (1), City of Sheridan (4) and Sheridan County (2).

The Sheridan Travel and Tourism Joint Powers Board will be responsible for directing the successful promotion of the attractions of Sheridan County.

Applicants for the Sheridan County appointments may reside in any portion of Sheridan County. Applicants must complete both a cover letter and board application. Applications must be received no later than June 7, 2019 at 5:00pm.
