Clerk and Recorder

Message from County Clerk and Recorder, Eda Schunk Thompson

Welcome to the County Clerk and Recorder website!  Since April of 2010, I have been your County Clerk and Recorder.  I was born and raised in Sheridan County and since 1990 I have worked in Wyoming, doing land research, teaching school, and serving Sheridan County.

Our office is dedicated to serving your needs in county elections, vehicle and mobile home titles, uniform commercial code, recording and land records, marriage licenses, notaries, county road vacations, county liquor licenses, and special district public records.

We hope most of your questions will be answered here.   If not, please give me or my staff a call or send us an email.   Our contact information is located on the right-hand side of this page.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.   Please see our Holiday Schedule to find out which days we are closed to the public.

We are honored to serve the citizens of Sheridan County and the public and strive to do so with Excellence, Experience, Efficiency, Skill, Tenacity, and Trust.

Let me know if you have questions or concerns by phone, email, or stopping by my office.   I will listen and do my best to facilitate effective dialogue.

Thank you,

County Clerk and Recorder, Eda Schunk Thompson
